30/9/00 O'NEILL CALLS FOR RE-THINK
Celtic manager Martin O'Neill is going to get in touch with UEFA in order to clear Stilian Petrov of the yellow card he picked up for diving in the UEFA Cup clash against HJK Helsinki. But television replays have since showed that it was a penalty which if converted would have killed the tie well before Chris Sutton's extra-time winner, and the official has since said that he would look at video evidence of the incident.

But Bonetti was still raging about the tackle from Jason De Vos and Kevin McDonald during the 3-0 victory over Dundee United on Wednesday.
23/9/00 CELTIC 1 - DUNDEE 0
Celtic's Stilian Petrov was the toast of Parkhead after producing a superb second-half winner against Dundee to give manager Martin O'Neill his 12th win a row. This was far from vintage Celtic but again they showed great resolution to snatch a victory when a draw looked the most likely outcome with Chris Sutton and Henrik Larsson having an off day. The home side sweated and probed the Dundee defence all afternoon in search of a goal, but it was the little Bulgarian who supplied amatch-winning header from Lubo Moravcik's cross to maintain Celtic's lead at the top of the Premier League.
